The Problem
A restaurant lives or dies on a feeling — will this night be worth it. A prospective guest decides in seconds, usually on a phone, whether to book here or scroll to the next place. Most restaurant sites kill that feeling with slow galleries, a buried menu, and a reservation link they have to hunt for.
Ember & Oak had the room, the fire, and the food — but needed a site that made you feel the warmth and got you to the table before the impulse passed.

The Approach
I led with the food and the room — one hero that makes you hungry — then put the menu and the reservation within a thumb's reach of everywhere. Atmosphere first, friction last.
The whole thing is built to feel like the place: warm, low-lit, and unhurried, but with the practical parts — hours, menu, book a table — never more than a tap away. Appetite and ease, at once.
