Calibra Digital is a small independent web studio. We keep this policy short and plain because that is how we like to work. It explains what information we collect when you visit our site or get in touch, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@calibradigital.net and we will explain it properly.
We only collect what we genuinely need. When you use our contact form or email us directly, we receive the details you choose to share — typically your name, your email address, and whatever you tell us about your project. If a conversation moves forward, we may keep related notes and correspondence so we can pick up where we left off.
We also gather a small amount of basic, aggregated analytics about how the site is used — for example, which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. This is measured at a general level and is not used to identify you personally.
We use the information you send us to reply to your enquiry, to scope and carry out work you have asked about, and to keep in touch about a project while it is active. We use analytics to understand what is working on the site and to make it clearer and faster over time.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles. We will not send you marketing you did not ask for.
Our site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential and simply help the site function. Others support the basic analytics described above, so we can see how pages perform in aggregate. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings at any time — blocking non-essential ones will not stop the site from working.
Running a studio means relying on a few trusted providers — for example, email hosting, website hosting, and analytics tools. These providers process some information on our behalf so that the basics work. We share only what is necessary, and we expect them to handle your information responsibly and in line with their own obligations.
We may also disclose information where we are genuinely required to by law. Beyond that, your details stay with us.
We keep information only as long as it is useful for the purpose it was collected. Enquiries that do not lead to work are cleared out periodically. For active and past clients, we hold correspondence and project records for as long as we have a working relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards, so we can support the work and meet any legal or accounting requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it.
You can ask us what information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to certain uses or ask us to limit them. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local data protection law — we will honour those in good faith.
To make any of these requests, just email us. We will respond within a reasonable time and will not charge you for a straightforward request.
If you have a question about this policy, want to exercise any of your rights, or would like to raise a concern about how we handle your information, write to us at hello@calibradigital.net. We read everything ourselves and will get back to you.
We may update this policy from time to time as our tools or practices change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page.
