Northlight is a working studio, not a roster. It's built around one photographer and a small, dedicated team — so the person you meet at the consult is the person behind the camera on the day. No second-shooter roulette, no handing your project to whoever's free.
Talia started Northlight after years shooting for other studios' clients under other studios' names. The idea was simple: keep the team small enough that nothing gets handed off, and good enough that nothing has to be.
She shoots most sessions herself. The rest of the team handles lighting, retouching, and the parts of a shoot day that go smoother with more hands — never the parts that need her eye.
North-facing windows for soft, consistent daylight, backed up by a full studio lighting kit for anything the weather won't cooperate with. Best for portraits, product, and anything that needs a clean, repeatable setup.
Homes, offices, venues, the street outside — wherever the story actually is. We travel with a lean kit so a location shoot still feels calm, not like a production has landed on top of it.
